How Do You Clean Your Baby’s Pacifier?

We should really be thinking about the items our babies are putting into their mouth, especially right now with flu season coming up and the coronavirus lingering around. Sanitizing baby bottles and breast pump parts- if you are a breastfeeding mama- is a given. However, sometimes pacifiers and even medicine syringes can be forgotten, but are just as important. Think about it…pacifiers are in a baby’s mouth more than anything else, and end up on the floor more times than not!

Mayo Clinic recommends sanitizing pacifiers before every use up until they are 6 months old. At that point the immune system is a little stronger and you can begin washing it with hot, soapy water. Most people sanitize pacifiers and medicine syringes by boiling them for 5 minutes or even throwing them in the dishwasher on a sanitizing mode. These are perfectly good ways to disinfect those items unless of course you have a latex pacifier which is not dishwasher safe.

There is a better alternative to sanitizing pacifiers and medicine syringes:  The LiViliti Paptizer! It eliminates 99.9% of bacteria, germs & viruses in as little as 3 minutes! Yes, that’s right.. 3 MINUTES! As mamas, our time is valuable and anything that will make our lives a little easier is worth a great deal! The Paptizer saves time and energy while giving you peace-of-mind that what is going in your baby’s mouth is safe and free of germs!
